Both are accomplished photographers and Tesh - always an artist in his soul - has become a renowned wedding and live event painter as well. (Check out this page on his website to see all his national awards!) Together they have built two businesses to cover all their creative abilities. Their newest business specializes in Tesh’s live wedding and event painting, Raleigh Wedding Painter. If you are out somewhere at a community or private event and there is a quiet, unassuming man painting on the side, you can pretty much bet it will be Tesh.
He is a perfect example of a young man from India with the soul of an artist, who came to America as an engineer but eventually found his calling through his home life and his art. He arrives before the event begins, sets up his low-profile easel and gets the background painted before the festivities commence. Then, during the ceremony and/or reception (your choice) he begins to create your one-of-a-kind wedding keepsake right then and there, finishing by the end of your celebration. He works in oils or watercolors (also your choice) and it normally takes him 5-6 hours to create a painting. He offers three size paintings; 16x20, 18x24, and 22x30, all of which would look beautiful hanging on your wall. What a truly unique wedding keepsake he creates!
Here are some examples of his work, taken by IWP Photography;
And here is a wedding couple standing beside their wedding painting. Their wedding was under the magnificent oak tree at The Oaks at Salem in Apex, NC.

There is a great video about Tesh on his website, created by one of our local DJ - Videographers, Damien Maass. I didn’t realize Damien was such a good videographer and I really enjoyed learning more about Tesh.
Mica and Tesh’s other business is IWP Photography and Video. With a specialty in Indian weddings - no small feat as photographers - they provide video and photography for all of life’s personal and commercial events, professional corporate shots for business use, and even commercial product photography. They pretty much cover it all! I loved looking through their website and can recommend it highly. Such kind and multi-talented photographers will always be a great combination!
On July 28, 2014, they will be in Philadelphia filming the Roger Daltry / Joan Jett concert. (major wow!), so obviously their talents run in many directions!
Here are some examples of their wedding, engagement and family portraits;
On their website they say they are “Saving life’s precious moments - one smile at a time.”
Yes, I’d say that fits them perfectly.
