There has been an interesting trend going on at weddings and receptions. Many couples are opting to use light as a decorative element and DJs and photographers are having a lot of fun with it. Lighting can be so much more versatile than a wall projection of your monogram or your name in hearts. For that “WOW!” factor in your wedding design, this might be just the thing you are looking for.
I recently attended The Carolina Inn Bridal Showcase and one of the DJs, Jeff Simpson, of Simpsound DJ and Lighting Services, had a great slideshow of lighting effects he had done for many wedding venues in our area. I was so taken with what I saw that I thought you might be, too. If you are looking for something truly different and unexpected at your wedding and reception, light can create an amazing mood and ambience, turning a nice setting into something extraordinary.
Here are some beautiful examples of the lighting artistry of Jeff Simpson / Simpsound DJ and Lighting Services. It must have felt spectacular to be within all this amazing light.

As you can see, light creates a special kind of magic and the DJs in our area sure know how to play that to best effect. Thanks, Jeff, for the use of your great photos and congratulations on such beautiful lighting designs.
